This page explains what cookies we use on tind.io, what they do, and how you can control them. Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. If anything is unclear, email us at info@tind.io.
If you visit from the EU, EEA or the UK, you will see a cookie banner on your first visit. We only set analytics and advertising cookies after you click Accept. If you decline, we only use the cookies needed for the site to work. You can change your choice at any time using the Settings link in the banner or the cookie settings button at the bottom of the page.
If you visit from outside Europe, we do not show a banner, and analytics and advertising cookies are set when you arrive. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can contact us to opt out of marketing.
Necessary. Needed for the site to work, for example to remember your cookie choice or let you submit a form. These are always on.
Functionality. Remember your preferences so the site works better for you.
Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people find us, so we can improve it.
Advertising. Used to measure whether our campaigns reach the right people, and to show TIND to visitors who have been to our site before.
These are the third-party services that may set cookies on tind.io. Each has its own privacy policy, linked below.
HubSpot – our website and CRM platform. Runs the site, handles forms, and remembers whether you have visited before. (Necessary, Functionality, Analytics)
Google Analytics – tells us how the site is used. (Analytics)
Microsoft Clarity – shows us how visitors move around pages so we can fix what is confusing. (Analytics)
Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and Microsoft Advertising – measure our campaigns and show TIND to people who have visited the site. (Advertising)
Cometly – measures where our campaign traffic comes from. (Advertising)
Through these cookies we may collect which pages you visit, how long you stay, which links you click, your rough location, and technical details such as browser type and IP address. If you fill in a form, we also receive what you enter, such as your name and email.
We use this to understand which content is useful, keep the site working well, and reach the libraries, archives and research institutions we build for. We do not sell your data.
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Others stay for up to 2 years so we can recognize you if you come back.
Wherever you are, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies. Under the GDPR (Europe and the UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California), you have specific rights to do this. Email info@tind.io for more information.
We update this page when the tools we use or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
